MP-153 Budget Shotgun Loadout!

Показать описание
Today we will be creating a full budget loadout for the MP153 for just over 100k rubles! The idea is that we get to use a good shotgun with great ammo, a headset, Class 4 armor and enough meds to sustain us in a short raid.

The 153 is an amazing shotgun because you don’t have to worry about rig space for ammo, can hold 9 shells very cheaply, and with magnum buckshot have the ability to either one tap any non-faceshield user up to 100m away, or deal potentially 400 damage per shot with leg meta at close range.

This gives the MP-153 a wide range of uses, and given the ballistics changes in patch 12.12 there are no other buckshot shells for 12 gauge that perform at medium range like magnum does. I hope you have success with this build!

*** BUILD DETAILS ***

How's the shotguns treating you in 12.12?

Don't sleep on flechette it is really nice to be able to aim center mass because of all that muscle memory

For me, the Saiga 12 with flechette is my favourite CQB weapon, but it's not even worth thinking about until you've got 10 round mags on tap, and you're willing to either top off a lot of mags, or pony up for a chest rig that can hold a lot of mags.
Once you do though, it'll punch holes in slicks without breaking a sweat, or breaking your bank.

I have only run double barrel with magnum buck, GSH headset, and whatever cheap backpack I've found on scavs. The amount of fun I've had has increased 10 fold since I started running it. Zero to hero every raid, with the most fun/satisfying gun in the game. No gear fear whatsoever either since the whole kit costs about 25k

My budget weapon, like in other wipes, is the pp-19 Vityaz. My favorite is running it with a vityaz suppresser, rubber butt pad, and okp-7 dovetail loaded with green tracer on factory. Might not be the most effective kit, but I have so much fun with it that I don't really care. (If you're wondering why I use green tracer specifically, it has nothing to do with anything practical, I just love the color green.)

I still run 6.5mm Express, I like not having the extra recoil for spamming buckshot at longer range and the increased accuracy seems to help the spread. Plus it's cheaper which is also good.

You can change the fire mode on the revolver shotgun to double action and it'll basically become semi-auto although with a little bit lower fire rate.

When It come to shotgun, I think people really sleep on the Mossberg. Yes, it's a pump shotgun, but it also can be cheaply mod to get 90+ ergo. That things basically instant ADS and have very good stock iron sight. You fire slower (and actually not THAT much), but can line up those headshot much faster than you can with a 153/155/saiga.

Chuck a pistol grip on it to increase it to two blocks high and you've built the insurance "fraud cannon". Get most of them back in the mail.

I love how much people sleep on Shotguns, despite their extremely good price to performance ratio. I've also always enjoyed using Flachette's as the wipe progresses, as I find them quite effective at punching face shield and quickly shredding even high tier armor

I stopped bringing in pistols for my sniper runs and started bringing in the MP-153 because pistols ALWAYS get taken. It's cheap, has much more of a chance of returning in insurance and you get that extra stopping power that you don't get with most pistols.

My favorite mods for the mp-153 are the gk-02 muzzle brake, Target ring, 8 round mp-133 tube and finally the ristol grip with the ds150 stock.
The costs of these mods are 33k from the traders, making the gun cost 50-65k. I like these mods, because they makt the weapon so huge, that almost nobody takes it. +- 90% of my shotguns have returned from the insurance.
This wipe, I had great success with the Flechette rounds.
Your videos are very informative and helpful. Keep it up.

Love this shotgun build, ran a ton of factory with it trying to get office PMC kills and the tremor kills. Wrecked a ton of PMC's (of course not in the office block...) and pretty much always got it back and it was quick to create and get back into raid.

I was having some fun running it with either just flechette or a mixed load of flechette/buckshot. First two shots are flechette and after that it alternates. My thought was the flechette will ruin armor and the following rounds will do the heavy flesh damage to kill. Also should be better for fighting scavs who may have that extra health. Not really sure if it was a better loadout, but it was fun to run!

Once AP20 opens up I want to try that, should work pretty well though.

I too, am a shotgunner! They're so cost effective but I'm on Setup / Silent Calibre and the ergonomics on suppressed MP-153 hurts my soul... MP-155 gang for the win.

Thank you so much this gun has been getting me so many kills currently the eight rounders are locked under Jager three But the seven rounders do just fine

Yeah I second the comments about adding the pistol grip and stock. I ran 10 last wipe as a test and got all ten back multiple times. Maybe by the second or third rotation I was missing one but it makes the shotgun better and makes it more likely to be brought back. Even a suppressed one will still come back, and at most they'll just take the suppressor off. Also flechets are an option if you want to go for the head I think, as they can make their way through a lot of face shields. I don't run them unless it's the start of the wipe or I'm using a saiga with drum mags, but as they're easy to get it is an option.

The revolving MT-255 is a semi auto, you can fire it in both single action (less trigger delay, longer time between shots) and double action (slight delay) also if your on DA and the hammer is down you can switch to single action, you will cock the hammer and then can switch back for DA for that first shot to be faster with trigger delayed follow up shots

Could we see the most cost-ineffective kit next? Sounds like bunch of fun for you to mess around with and for the viewer!

If you have mechanic 3, another option is the stock MP7a1 with the rear sight removed (Very clear irons that still shoot straight) and 30 round mags; this is around 40k w. 2-3 30 round mags, but u can go even cheaper if ur okay with using the 20 rounders. Slap in some FMJ or subsonic (subsonic is super underrated) and u have little bullet hose that can reliably go up against lvl 4 armor.

Great video m8, I didn't think about the dmg drop off with the new velocity system.
