It's really good for giggles, it doesn't have to be all meta all the time. One thing you might add to the merits of it; Pump shotties are kinda like hiding in plain sight. When was the last time you heard a shotgun in the distance and chased it down?

MP-153 hands down because of the. Semi auto action and no magazine required.

dont need to use the mp 153 mag on the mp153, you can use the mp133 mags
edit: Mp 133 mags have 2 less penalty to ergo also

The MP-153 is obviously still the superior meta shotgun at the moment since it has the lowest viewpunch and highest rate of fire. Having a default capacity of only 4+1 doesn't really hinder it much since you rarely need more than 3 or 4 shells to kill a target, and when you're using a shotgun you shouldn't be 1vXing anyway, so it's okay if you only have enough rounds to take down one PMC at a time.

In theory, the Saiga should be the superior shotgun because it reloads quickly, has drum mags, and is very customizable, but BSG has still not fixed the insane amount of camera punch it has per shot. The SKS has a similar issue in which the recoil is actually really low, but the camera punch is completely insane so you can't actually tell if your point of aim is correct unless you fire slowly.

The Mossberg 590 is alright, but again, MP-153s are much more ubiquitous and statistically superior. They're so easy to find on dead scavs that you're doing something wrong if you don't have at least 3 in your stash at a given moment.

A 750mm barrel on a mp133 shotgun with max ergo make actually a one of the best shotgun even with buckshot, the spread is tight and you can just spray without really any consequences since you're obviously gonna hit the guy even at 50m +

I like to use mp153 + express buckshot in my budget runs. 12/70 6.5 has 35 dmg which is enough to headshot and it has 1 more pellet (9 instead of 8) and +15% accuracy so you have a little bit more chances to hit a head

My issue with the 590 is that the mount for a red dot is almost twice the cost of the gun

153 is 2k cheaper and a semi- comes eith an 8 rounder often - only needs a cheap sight and sprm mount 40k total price for a pump- also is the most accurate shotgun with almost 2x the accuracy of stock mosberg. I rly dont se a reason to use mosberg

MoA IS important when you use slugs, more so than buckshot. It describes how many inches your sight moves per 100 yard per inch you move the barrel. So 21 MoA means at 100 yards if you move your barrel 1 inch up you will have moved it up 21 inches at 100 yards, 42 inches at 200 and so far.

AP20 is great, but it's just so inaccessible unless you are absolutely grinding Jaeger when the wipe starts
