I realised that the dust in my port was blocking the charger from going in fully. That’s why it wasn’t making a connection and charging

I held it up to the light and used a really small flat screwdriver and noticed the dust had collected at the back towards to two sides.

Softly I removed this dust that had squashed itself especially at the two corners.

Once I saw it coming out I tried the charger. This time it felt like it went in all the way and the charging began immediately

I did mine and couldn’t believe the amount of lint that came out. You would think apple would add a rubber cap or something to to prevent this.

I couldn’t get nothing out of mine using a safety pin. So upset my charger keeps falling out so easy.
So interesting to see all of these tiny spots of screens being coated with debris.
It’s so disgusting.
