That tape OMG that tape gave me the biggest laugh of my life. One of those "I cannot believe it" moments.Hung a quilt top on my design wall and used that tape to put like 100 long lines of it on the quilt top to get a visual of what the quilting would look like. The next morning it was all on the floor every single piece fell off. It doesn't stick to fabric more than a few hours apparently. Thank you for sharing your videos they're wonderful. 💗

I just discovered your channel and I really enjoy it. My great-grandmother taught me to quilt when I was 12 years old. She was a perfectionist. All of her quilting was done by hand, and if I didn't have at least 10 stitches per inch on a block she would make me rip it out and do it again. That was really frustrating when I was 12 years old but it taught me how to do things the right way. I appreciate it all her special tips and still use many of them today. We made our templates out of paper or cardboard. We used cardboard to trace our lines for quilting and for cutting. Nowadays I do things the modern way

I never thought about making my own jelly rolls strips! But this is genius and kind of relaxing really! And I like the idea of this using of scraps and making your kind of strips

Just bought a few jelly's and way too much fabric! Can't wait to use them. Have to finish organizing my "sewing area". Done buying, credit card is getting scary🤑 I actually had the same thought to cut up my older fabric for a quilt for one of those light bulb moments. I also bought a three sided flying geese ruler. Looks much easier and less waste 🧵🙋

I invested in a 2 1/2" ruler. Worth the money!

You need an AccuQuilt! It makes dealing with your scraps so much quicker and easier.

That tape is used a lot in the Yarn and Crochet community. We highlight patterns where we are, where we stop, what size we are knitting. The best product on the market. I'd love to know what brand that is? I'm new to following you. You have a lot of great information for a newbie like me.

I prefer to always iron my fabrics before making precuts! I am always scared of getting wonky bits 😱BTW, you have beautiful hands and gorgeous nails😊

I like any discussion of managing scraps! I was curious - do you have a specific use for the 2-1/2" x 6" cuts, or is this just a size that you use a lot?

I have a question : The storage pre-cut fabric is for only quilting geometric patchwork ? because when we make patchwork appliqué or patchwork landscape etc... we need larger fabric. So we don't have enough fabric dimension for doing that if we pre-cut it. What do you think about it ?
