He should have asked her, "Who is we?" He did try to get her to understand when he slipped in, "For you." But the teacher is trying to be nice and maintain a dialogue. He could've told her, "Who are you to speak for everyone?"

People of color, colored people. Gramatically and contextually, it is the same. I am from the Philippines and I don’t get offended. Is it just in the US that people are getting too sensitive?

The Professor is sharing a fact that Asian people are bringing back “Colored people”. Instead of listening that young woman kept trying to shut him down. Don’t let your emotions get in the way of learning people. You will be stronger for learning from other cultures.
