Pinwheel Samosa Recipe | Air fryer Pinwheel Samosa | Crispy Pinwheel Samosa
Ingredients:---
FOR DOUGH:--
All Purpose Flour/ Maida--1+1/2 cup
Salt---1 TSP
Oil--3 TSP
Water---1/4 cup
Mix all the ingredients.Add water and knead the dough tight. cover it with damp cloth and rest for 25-30 minutes.
FOR STUFFING
INGREDIENTS:---
Boiled potatoes---4
Onion---1medium size
Ginger grated----1 TBSP
Green chillies--2 OR as per your taste
Panch phoran--1 TBSP ( fenugreek seeds,cumin seeds,fennel seeds,mustard seeds,nigella seeds ) mix all in equal proportion
Chopped coriander--2 TBSP
Fennel powder/ saunf powder---1 TSP
Coriander powder--1 TSP
Aamchur/ Mango powder--1 TSP
Chat Masala Powder--1 TSP
Turmeric Powder--1/4 TSP
Red chilli powder--1/2 TSP
Salt --1 TSP
Oil---2 TBSP
INSTRUCTIONS :----
Mash potatoes or grate potatoes to a fine paste
Heat a pan and add oil, Add panch phoran, add green chillies, add grated ginger and saute for 1 minute
Add chopped onion and saute till translucent
Add mashed potatoes. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and Fry the potatoes on slow flame until light brown in colour
Add coriander powder, fennel powder, chat masala powder and mango powder and fry for another 2-3 minutes.
Add chopped coriander and keep aside
Let the stuffing cool to room temperature
How to proceed:--
Sprinkle a little flour on a working area and roll the dough with a rolling pin into a big round chapatti
Spread the prepared filling as evenly as possible leaving the edges
Roll it as tightly as possible
Secure the edges and press it by pinching it
Wrap the roll in a cling film and refrigerate for an hour or so
After an hour take it out and cut the roll to half an inch slices
Place the pinwheels on the greased air fryer tray leaving enough space between each piece.
Preheat the air fryer to180 degree
Air fry for 10 -20 minutes
10 minutes on each side until the pinwheels are golden brown and crisp
Let them cool
Serve it with green chutney and curd dip
Enjoy with hot cutting chai
