T-Test for a Correlation Coefficient and the Coefficient of Determination

In this video, we're going to learn about how we can apply what we know about the correlation coefficient ("r") to inferential statistics. That is, we won't just be using the correlation as a descriptive statistic that describes the relationship between two variables in a sample. Instead, we'll be using it as an inferential statistic (via the t-test for a correlation coefficient) to see if we have reasonable evidence to believe that an actual relationship between the two variables exists in the population (called "rho"). We'll also discuss how to interpret the coefficient of determination, which is simply the correlation squared.

so i am using this on a multiselect survey question.
and i want to find out the correlation/co-selections of a survey respondent... so i have used the same question attributes on rows and same on columns, in order to make a correlation matrix.
after correlation matrix, i have performed a t-test on the correlations coefficients, my question in here is what should be the n=? in here?
supposedly i had 12 options in that question (rows/columns), does my n = 12 ? Please clearify?
