To all! Thank you for your responses and for watching my video. I do not claim to be a specialist, this is just the way I prefer my turmeric water! I wanted to make a response in regards to the microwave & the pepper: There is a difference between microwaving in a glass container vs. a plastic one. Yes, microwaving is not the best, but realistically we all own one!! eat popcorn, use cell phones, etc. It's all about perspective.... as cooking food also changes the molecular structure and robs us of nutrients, but we cook the nutrients out anyway. Also, we risk pumping our bodies full of radiation when we talk on our cell phones, but we use them anyway.

Microwaves are a kind of non-ionizing radiation. They do not have the same risks as x-rays or other types of ionizing radiation, so they can be used if used properly. Also, the cayenne pepper was not meant for absorption. If you have an unhealthy digestive tract you are not absorbing most of the nutrients you take in any way, even if you were to use black pepper. I have a pretty healthy gut, so I do not need additional support with absorption but for those who do, I would suggest you heal your gut b/c using black pepper won't help much.

I use fresh organic lemons for lemon juice. Just squeeze them into the glass when you make a drink. Canned lemon juice has sugar in it and sometimes other ingredients. Also recommend stevia instead of honey, it has no sugar.

I thought so too. I don't know but ayurvedics say 1/16 of black pepper to turmeric. So for every 15 or 16 Tablespoons add 1 teaspoon of black pepper. I personally mix turmeric with cayenne and ginger with black pepper. Equal proportions and mix the two. Then I have ginger tumeric with both black and cayenne. Who knows.

Many of the "experts" commenting on your method of warming the water/lemon juice mixture obviously do NOT understand the difference between microwave radiation and ionizing radiation. A course or two in physics, chemistry, geochemistry might disabuse them of their misconceptions. Many thanks for the recipe.

While cayenne pepper taste better than black pepper, you should use black pepper. Turermic assimilated better in the body w a health oil such as olive or coconut oils.

Please let me tell you how you can improve. First don't heat it up in the microwave. That's a big no no. Next use black pepper not red. Next don't put the acidic lemon with the alkaline turmeric. Next put some olive oil with a slightly wet and pasted turmeric and make a past with the olive oil. Then add the water. Warm water is best, not hot. There are lots of reasons for doing things this way. Too much to explain here.

I meant add tablespoon of cayenne or black pepper. You go girl, share with everyone what helps H.pylori, digestion, fat burning, heart, arteries, bad cholesterol, and more. The cayenne makes your veins elastic so the body doesn't send Band-Aids of cholesterol to your arteries and veins.

I make ginger water (I use fresh ginger root). Is it safe to add a teaspoon of turmeric to that?
