Back when the food network had shows about Food and not game shows and competitions. Those were the good old days. 👍

Alton is the Bob Ross of cooking. He makes things that we "normals" can do at home too. He doesn't try to make himself look better than anyone with his cooking skills. I also love it when he explains the science behind what he does.

Alton is by far the best person on your network. Clear communication, entertaining while not being scummy or artificially over the top. Also the what an ingredient does to the dish stays with you longer than just the recepie. More Alton!

I remember when Alton Brown started out. Started watching his cooking show because I loved that he inserted facts into the episodes. I love information and enjoyed watching his show.

Alton is such a good tv chef. His voice is soothing and his recipes are delicious. He explains the procedure of each dish in detail. This pandemic would have been ten times worse without having his videos to watch.

His original show was pure gold. Shows these days are lame because with him you will actually learn something.

He knows chemistry.

I've made that French Toast for my wife on her birthday pretty much every year since that episode aired and she still asks me every year, just in case I've forgotten. :)

I hold extreme nostalgia for this show because when I was young my dad worked A lot and got home vary late, When he got home I’d sometimes watch this and Survivor man with him. Of course I was supposed to be in bed so if my mom caught us we’d be in trouble... Ah good times.

I loved the "anyone can do this" feeling, instructions we could understand, with the humor. Win win win. I learned WHY things were a disaster in my kitchen, lol!

Back when I was younger I used to have a DVR in my room. I only recorded Good Eats, had like 160 episodes recorded that I'd just watch over and over again. I watched so much Good Eats that I used to have dreams about hanging out with AB. 😆 Good times.

Good Eats is my sister's favorite Food Network show. I used to watch it with her most of the time. We missed the good old days.
