Lovely video mate. The most natural angler I’ve ever met, and a top bloke, you were always going far. You should be very proud of everything you have achieved. I’ve always admired your ability to embrace new concepts and ideas quicker than everyone else, and make them your own. Thanks for the kind words, they mean a lot. X

I love watching content like this. One thing which is common amongst many people who are happy and successful in life is the fact that they worked hard and grabbed every opportunity which came their way, even if that meant taking risks and stepping out of their comfort zone to reach their goals. Far too many of us don't like to rock the boat, and stick to what we know. Joe could have easily decided to carry on working along side his dad and his life taken a different direction. Thank you Joe for sharing your story. I wish you continued happiness and success in all areas of your life

That has to be one of the most rewarding fishing videos I have seen. Your honesty and passion about the sport is plain for all to see. When I’m out on the bank and the going gets tough ( most days 🤣🤣)I will just think of this video and smile. 👍🏼🎣🎣

Absolute cracking video Joe, I take my hat off to you .people assume that all Sports media coverage is well payed but it’s not, I used to write a weekly article in my local paper on all of the club waters. Where the best places were fishing, how the matches performed, etc and I really enjoyed it for 16 years but the amount of time it took to gather the information, write an article, send it to press it did start to dwindle my fishing time, also you feel like you’re talking angling 24/7 . But well done for what you’ve achieved Joe.

Fair play to you Joe for being so open with it and laying out the minuses too. I remember you as a mad keen youngster on Total-Fishing / Angling Forums and you still have that eagerness. Hands down I'd say your media content is the best out there and NuFish did themselves a solid one getting you as youve pushed their media content and presence well forward 👍

I've dabbled a bit - done a few feaures in years past and a bit of work on Midland/Southern Angler magazines after DHP sold the titles. It was a great time but not to be for me. It can certainty be a selfish job being away and hard to balance with having a young family and you're smashing it!

Great video Joe, nice to hear how you got into the media side of fishing. If I was 30 younger I would of loved to try my hand at making my own videos on YouTube and getting into the media side of it but at my age now I wouldn't stand a chance due to experience or lack there of

Great Video Joe. Its always nice to listen to how a mans dreams actually became reality. I have been following you and Jonny Arthur for many years as an ardent Club fisherman. I think your way is an honest description of what is possible in our great sport. Long may it continue and keep producing those brilliant product and actual fishing video's. Cheers from a 73 year old retired Ford Commercial Vehicle sales guy who still learns after fishing since 1958.

Nice video and insight Joe, long time since the angling forums matches, you, Fisky and Adam have done ok.

Like you I was a sparky and changed jobs to pushing a pen instead of a toolbox, and got sick if watching my local club going down the pan so took the chairmans roll in 2017 and started the process of rebuilding the fishery and club.

Now retired and enjoying my fishing, making floats, building odd tip rods from old fly rods.
