Do you have any other tips and tricks for word problems? I've gone through optimization and related rates and am having problem understanding how to set up and solve the problem. For example, I just learned that when A move towards B it is # - x but when A moves away from B it is just #. I'm not sure I understand the logic behind it but I just memorized that this is how it works. Would you happen to have a vdo explaining these minute topics that aren't really covered in my calculus book?

How do you distribute the cost between the base and the side once you got the cheapest cost? Im referring to the storage problem. Thanks
