The Thompson Family Haunting & The Story of Man (Full Documentary)

If you're like me you've always wanted to know more about the episode "Demon Child" from the tv series A Haunting, well after researching for years I was finally able to find the actual family this story belonged to, and I felt even luckier when they agreed to do a documentary about this story, and film interviews with them as well. This along with the story of Cindy Sarro have been two of my favorite all time paranormal stories so I feel thankful I am the first person on youtube to cover this story.

I am a Native Woman from Canada. I have a video of a Demonic voice outside of my house while I was recording. I didn't mean to catch that recording I just noticed it after I watched my video. We experienced supernatural stuff in our home.

My son used to talk to me”Charles” when he was about 2. I finally saw Charles when my son turned 4, he was an exact doppelgänger of my son. He’s 19 now and still remembers Charles. But one night I thought my baby was sleep walking again like he does on some occasions. I walked behind him lingering to see what he would do. He looked back at me and went on a full spring running so I kept calling his name and running behind him, our house was huge, by the time he reached the living room I lost sight of him and I flicked the light on. He was nowhere to be found so I ran to his room and he was sleeping peacefully with his baby brother, my other baby. I had an imaginary friend when I was a child and she turned evil on me, I feared it for my boy. After we had a talk the spirit started scaring both of my boys at night, one night my husband and I went in the room because of loud growling and furniture moving and my oldest boys bed was shaking violently. We left everything and never went back to that house. In between my boys were getting scratches and bruises

So sad to hear of Jan's passing. My boyfriend of 10 years passed away the following year, Dec. 31, 2022. Love how much she was included in the documentary ❤

What I don't understand is that if you're child was/is going thru something like this then why would it take you so long to sleep in the same room as him 🤔🙄 nearly every programme I've ever seen involving a child that's being haunted they always leave the poor child or babies to sleep alone in their room to deal with it all alone the poor kid 😮😢

My son talked to “the man” when he was around 2. Didn’t stop until we moved out of our old house. It was really scary. I can’t go into detail because it was over the course of a few years and so many frightening things. I do believe in kids when they can see things we cannot.

In our culture we never left babies alone..The best "baby monitor" were mom/dad.... We protect children at all costs... ❤️

These videos are very thoughtfully and carefully done. Special effects, substitutes or add-ons explained and accounted for. I feel the authenticity of the films’ creator’s reporting and of the people the stories are about. This is my new and only go-to channel for things ghostly. I also like that the videos are not overly long. So many that are, just repeat things over and over. These are just long enough to tell the tale but not to get tiring or boring.
They are just about purrfect. 😻

I had a 'Mister' with me from birth till I was 3, my mum tells me the story and I don't remember a thing! I'm so glad coz it sounds terrifying for her to go through with her first baby, especially when she didn't believe in the paranormal until this...
From birth i used to make growling noises when i cried and my mums neighbours heard it and freaked out, this turned into me babbling and playing with something unseen as a baby, as i got older he was my friend, we played and my mum listened to one way conversations and heard me laughing alone, when we moved house, 'Mister' followed us, but that's when things got bad, my mum would hear me saying 'no i can't' 'I'm not allowed' then crying, this would go on for months, i started to be scared of men, i would wake up screaming in the middle of the night and having nightmares, I'd apparently told my mum there was arms coming out the walls and pulling me off the bed..
I'd started nursery and told staff how 'mister" wasn't my friend anymore and I was scared to be at home or in my room without my mum, mum moved me into her room and the nightmares persisted .. she then spoke to someone from the church; they came to the house, told my mum and spirit was trying to posses me but I was too strong and bright of light for it to get in without me letting it .. the basically exorcised me (not like in the movies) all I did was cry, while this was happening, some church people went to the house and blessed the house, from that day forward i never spoke about 'Mister' again.
But I was still scared of men and until I was 12 I spoke in tongues in my sleep, i only know a little Spanish and that's recent 😅... very interesting but terrifying for my mum!

I feel for all children and families going through this 💖🙏

I remember watching this episode of A Haunting and I'm sorry that Jan passed away My most sincere condolences for her family and friends.
