God's Wrath is actually a good thing

I've always been pretty uncomfortable with the idea of God's wrath. Recently, I've started to understand that we cannot fully understand God's grace until you full accept his wrath.

Expectation vs. Reality 101

We expect that God will RUIN us because of our sin but the reality is through His Son Jesus Christ, He desire to have RELATIONSHIP with us.

My take away. Thanks Jon! Wonderful message. Keep it up! God bless your ministry.

This is such a tricky topic, but I just wanted to say I'm grateful for your bravery to speak on the matter. I know that it's always scary to put content out about such difficult things, and I can only imagine how intimidating it must be knowing how many people will watch this. You really handled the topic well. Keep up the great work!

Okay so I know this is totally unrelated to the video, but I’ve been struggling a lot lately. I’m dragging faith wise. I feel numb. I don’t feel “filled up” or “hyped up” for Jesus like I used to. I just feel numb. I can’t feel Jesus right now. Anyways, I started watching your video and it’s the first time in two months that I’ve actually started to feel that spark coming back. Learning and listening to that truth, kinda crazy. So thank you for continually posting videos. You never know who needs to hear it or how God is using it, but I appreciate it so much. Thanks ma dude.

Omg John I've left probably 5 comments on your video "The Wall" because I watch it every time when I have struggle. I have it still, I'm a very stressful situation and facing something that's breaking me. But today I received amazingly good news, I got an apartment. I am climbing over the wall. Sometimes I feel absolutely frightened but when I pray, it all goes away. I have still a very hard thing I'm going through, someone who I love is in danger, but we take small steps. We have got many small good news this year, I truly believe it is comfort from God. He is leading us somewhere, saving us, but we need patience and trust. Sometimes I've had very hard times and I've been very scared about life, not trusting God enough. Lately I've been trusting more and more, I've let my and my loved one's live in hands of God. He knows what He is doing.
I had sin with me a year and two ago. I wasn't a good person. I've changed myself during this year. God has pushed me towards change by putting me in hard situations but also rewarded me when I've done good things. He has shaped me slowly to be a better person. Now he is shaping me to have stronger faith.

I pray for all of you who live with hardship and sin. Step by step. Trust in God. Thank you Jon for comfort when I didn't have enough trust in God to comfort myself.

That was such a great explination Jon!! 💙💙 God's grace wouldn't exist without wrath. Like good without bad. We wouldn't know the beautiful things if we couldn't see the ugly. Great message!! Be blessed, Nicki 😇

Wow, such a great video! I've never seen it explained in such a simple way, and I think it's something that definitely needs help to be understood. Personally, it helped, because I've heard the explanation for the image of God we get in the OT and the grace of the NT, but this really helped connect that together.
