Getting Started with the New (2020) Version of Screencastify

I would highly recommend this video for any new user to Screencastify! The following is just a "teacher preference everyone is different" type of comment...


Another way to add the video link to the doc would be through comments! I know in some LMS's, when a student hands in work, the teacher becomes the owner of the doc which would nullify regular notifications being sent to the student about changes to the doc. If you have notifications set on the doc... then the student will receive an email saying a change has been made.

I love Screencastify but wondered if I could use it during a Powerpoint slide show? I made the slide show but realized I didn't have access to the tools in Screencastify. And you're right, this is an amazing extension.

Thank you for posting this video. My wife is using this to make videos for her kindergarten class but she is having trouble when it uploads to Google Drive. It is taking over an hour for them to save. Do you know of a fix for this or have you had this issue?
