"Why would you help me?"
"Because you asked"
It sounds so simple, yet it encompasses Luke's character greatly.
Being able to act with kindness, no motives or overthinking, but merely because he can.

It’s awesome that he doesn’t mention the rebellion as an option even Del said so. He just wants Del to be better person.

I love how Palpatine is a literal hoarder who just has dozens if not hundreds of secret vaults stashed around the galaxy full of random bits and pieces

BFII goes to show that it's less about who portrays Luke or how he sounds, and more about *what* he says and does.

You can really feel the calm and peace in Luke's voice and how he talks. Its so soothing. Makes even an imperial soldier question if what he's fighting for is really the right thing to do. Thats truly how a jedi is supposed to be

I'd like to believe this rendition of Luke really helped Disney out man. It was perfect and exactly what we expected he'd be up to.

Luke displays the heart of a Jedi here: compassionate, strong, focused, empathetic, and a little bit mysterious -- but not in an obtuse way. He guides Del without telling him what to do or how to behave.
This is a better rendition of Luke Skywalker in 5 minutes than we got in all of Episode 8.

That scene was the first time I started to like Luke as a character. This down-to-earth, humble mindset he brings.

This is maybe the best portrayal of Luke outside of the original trilogy. It shows him becoming wiser, better, violent as a last resort

Looking at Luke like this makes me tear up cause this is the actual Luke and what we were robbed of

This 5 Minutes are better than 3 movies together. Its shows perfet the jedi Philosophie, the charakter of luke skywallker and the imperial way to handle Problems.

I like how Luke asked politely to keep the compass even though Del knew there was no remote possibility of beating a Jedi. This is unironically the best depiction of Luke under Disney's disastrous tenure with my favorite franchise.

I didn’t particularly like the game’s story, but this section was simply amazing. We need to see more of this Luke

2:27 I like how Luke even hands him the gun pointed at his own chest to just show the complete trust Luke has for that soldier. Luke feels the goodness in him.

Luke was done perfectly in this game. No black and white moral high grounds. Just the situation and what you want to do about it.

Just like his dad really.

How is it possible that a game has a better version of Luke Skywalker than the one in the sequel movies😢😢

Edit: I might delete this comment

“Because you asked.”

“Because I asked.”

Perfect writing for Luke.

This game:
Luke: a choice.
Del: the rebellion?
Luke: No. A choice to be better.

I love how Luke changed that guys entire perception on the Jedi, and Luke held no prejudice and treated that soldier with respect and compassion. As would all the Jedi would with all of their enemies, now if only folks in the real world would think like the Jedi our world would be a better place.

3:06 awesome line by Luke!! I really like Luke's portrayal here. No longer is he that young teen on Tatooine eager to see what his destiny is. He is mature, knows war, and is settled in his role as a Jedi Knight. I like to view this Luke as being the full mature Jedi his father could've been.
