NGL, I come here thinking I was only going to watch 5 seconds of this video and be leaving once he said some number meant something in metric, and even after I saw he was getting at I stayed because his voice was so freaking soothing and calming to listen to. Lol

So I’m new to this I’m looking between a 2500-1000 but I’m not sure the size of fishes that I’ll be going for would you also say that a 1000 can Handel any size fish for fresh water

If you’re using braid, these “rules” largely become redundant.

Why don’t baitcasters have reel sizes ? What spinning reel size is closest to common baitcaster ?

Yeah not true entirely reel size is usually balanced with rod size to ballance it ie 6 foot lure rod 1000 11 foot feeder or wagler rod 3000 to 4000
