Please help me, like at 7:28 i don't have the tabs up there where you can change text etc whenever you select a new tool, i have the file object etc buttons up then the project down, i can't see the editing buttons, how do i turn them on

He's right. Force yourself to learn the commands. It helps your designing speed and flow more than anything else.

I find he moves pretty fast. Although basic, I have to pause a lot between each action. He also does quick actions you can miss if you are not paying attention.
People all over the industry forget what "for beginners" actually means. It is more "for intermediate users".
