I have actually done a lot of research into this topic and I personally believe that extra- terrestrials had something to do with our evolution

Well, don't forget in Prometheus, the Engineers had DNA very similar to ours.

Which means they were created using human DNA. Remember how their technology and suit resembles the Space Jockey? Although the Space Jockey had a more biological look and was fossilized.

Maybe they were created by some other race of aliens.


If I remember correctly, the Yautja were likely mammal-like reptiles that were taken off Earth and put on a different planet to evolve there.

very interesting Carlos...the Giants were on earth thats a fact that the World Government has hidden for years...The Alien slant on this in really great and thanks for bringing this up....this series of movies could have been epic if they dug deep into the bible and used it correctly enuff for the movie viewers to believe it could have happened....

I think it's possible mankind origins have a little bit ofeverything. I'm not saying it is clear that we are products or variants of an alien species, rather I am pondering the probability of God being just an incredibly advanced being, maybe so much advanced that he doesn't need to live with others of his kind. I think Clarke's third law fits well - "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." and God might be wizard.

Alien intervention in earths history is interesting but, let's just say that there is a good reason Shaw had to take it on faith in the film

This is one of the questions that Prometheus asks and I was hoping that Alien Covenant would answer. It was frustrating that it didn't and that that storyline was swept aside. In regard to the Alien universe, it looks like the Engineers had a part in humanity's evolution. Who knows, really?

I personally believe in evolution and that life on planet earth was created on its own. The Alien franchise and select movies from it, particularly Prometheus have really opened a new ideology to myself as to the possibility of life on earth being aided in its process of development/ evolution. Not only was it the actual film but mostly the philosophy behind the scenes and script of "creation" which is honestly a very fascinating topic.

I'd like to think the Panspermia theory has some truth to it, it would be nice to know for sure that there's life out there in some shape or form.

I really enjoy the Alien series, but if you have to explain things about your story, you need to rethink what you are leaving out.

I believe the underlying story is the engineers we saw in Prometheus were the xenoengineers of higher beings (Destroyers)and the elderly figures were the (creaters), but there is an even higher level of Engineers that are above them all as the Alpha race that have advanced technologies surpassing the engineers from Prometheus. The ones we see in Covenant are just a spin off race on a planet created for life! this os the story we have not found out about yet...more to come!👍👍

I'm a Christian but as to how God created us I'm open to ideas.... I really feel a connection to the engineers and I wanted desperately to see more of them and to see them mix with humans and join I think this would be a great turn of events.... I think it's possible God used another race to get us

God. "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." Later in Genesis it goes on to say that it was our Creator (God) that created our father Adam and our mother Eve. Everything that came into existence was created by an intelligent being, i.e. God, our Creator. Interesting question Acidglow.
