The story I have always heard about Tutankhamun's death is it was assumed he had a broken leg that ended up with an infection that took his life from perhaps a chariot accident. Maybe he also had a head injury as well.

King Tut always reminds me of King Edward VI of England. Both came to the throne as children and both died before they turned 20.
