That burger looked tasty!

I cook with peppers a lot. Let me tell you a little story that will make you laugh.

Back in the 80s, before my wife and I got married, I was cooking using fresh jalapenos. I chopped a bunch up for whatever I was cooking. While I was doing that my future wife decided it would be funny to drop some ice cubes down my shorts. Of course I freaked out and reached into my shorts to retrieve the cubes of ice that were freezing my grapes.

Back to normal and back to cooking. Seconds later I felt a burning Long story short, I did a lot of crying and I may have screamed a little. I was in the shower using direct pressure to soothe the burn. It took an hour for the pain to subside.

Needless to say I am very careful when I cook with peppers now.

Hey, thanks for your recipes ;)

Great video Hilah, that burger looked awesome. When I saw the title, I first thought of something else instead. Since I living in Colorado I thought of the other bud of course not Budweiser. :D

This looks amazing.  I need this in my life.

It's your favourite burger to have with an icy cold beer in the summertime when the weather is hot and you are hotter.  I guess you can't finish the sentence properly when the video is sponsored...lol

Killer burger, Lady! I usually have a few Serranos around, and though I'm not a fan of high octane "Texas heat", I like the way roasting them takes the edge off and mellows them just right for my tastes. I have to try that marinade!

Here's hoping you win the contest! Think of all the diapers you can buy...  :-)
