I really do love your beautiful work, could you guide us on choosing matching fabrics for projects, it's very essential to me as a beginner, since I spent minimum two hours just roaming around the Matching and returning fabrics and end up lost in the fabric shop sourounded by hundreds of fabrics with a tear in my eye 😢

Thank you for this sew-along, very fun as usual!!
I've a question for another project that would use ties though... I want to make a cover for my printer, which is quite boxy, so the cover would be in a "+" shape and closed with ties... I imagine I could use the same technique as in the video, but I was thinking of finishing it with bias tape/ binding all around for contrast instead. The thing is, how would I sew the binding in those inverted 90-degree angles? Do you happen to have any tutorial on that, either here on YT or on the Sewing Club??

I’ve read several articles that have helped me with matching fabrics. I will share what I usually do.
A common color is good for matching.
It seems to work the best if one print is larger than the other. Too many tiny prints tend to look too busy. Too many large prints can compete with each other. Add a solid fabric to break up patterns.
The most important thing to remember is if it looks good to you and you like it …it’s fine!

A ultra light foot can be used to sew plastic type fabric

What a fun make. Think it would work with scrapbook paper and ribbon. Love the live. I had a question last Wed, about clothing for the wheel chair bound. Have you ever made any thing in a loose top or any of your audience, thou I think of them as the girls. Take care.
