For this month’s sew-along we’re making a simple but so useful heart pin cushion, with clip storage and hanging ribbon.

17” x 8” fabric
14” ribbon
Toy filler
button to decorate [optional]

Hand sewing needle and thread

I’ve used the largest size of template 1
If you don’t have a printer I’ll show you how to draw a heart shape, you’ll need a piece of paper, ruler and pen, plus a 4” circle template such as a ribbon reel or small plate.

Grandma Phillips always said that an itchy nose meant company was coming, quick clean up the house!
My version is clean up the house, stir up the dust, then you get an itchy nose.

I watch a british medical show and as the doctor is leaving the room of the patient he will say"Cheers" to me this is very odd (I am from the US) We say Cheers to toast a drink or for merryment. So can you explain this to me so I can understand circumstances when you would say Cheers?

I never saw the turning gap allowance. I saw her stitch right down the entire length of the 2 single pieces and she said that too. Did I miss something? How big is the gap?
