I think I remember that Sam Hill ordered Grievous to be implanted with a "control chip" of sorts that was responsible for his unstable emotions (especially anger) and the mistakes he often makes during the Clone War.

So... What if Grievous discovered the existence of his control chip? Would he denounce his allegiance to Dooku & the CIS? Create his own rebel cell after Order 66? Help Kenobi against Vader or Yoda against Sidious?

I’ve been recently wondering what if Anakin became something like Ashoka post empire? The chosen one truly becoming balanced in the force, maybe as a young Padawan finding an ancient sith bled crystal, sympathizing with it because of there shared pain, hiding it from obi-wan and trying to comfort it through the force but accidentally purifying it in the process.

If you realize that if General Grievous ever did have force powers, he would be among the greatest who ever lived. His hatred against the Jedi would over power any light wider and with his already enchanted cybernetic brain, with the force guiding his movements, not even Kenobi would survive him. Palpatine would choose Grievous as his apprentice and the empire would arrive that much sooner.
