What is General Grievous’s biggest weakness!?

But he doesn’t just have 1 but 2 flaws in his character!

And the first weakness is kinda obvious but it has to do with Grievous’s lack of Force powers!

Cuz since he can’t use the Force it means he doesn’t have the ability to put up a Force wall or shield to defend himself against other Force attacks!

This is why we constantly see Grievous being thrown around with the Force whenever he tries to fight a Jedi!

And after getting tossed around, Grievous usually runs away!

But that also leads us into his second weakness which is Grievous’s pride!

See, Grievous always has a ton of opportunities to end his Jedi opponent with speed.

But he would much rather deal with them directly by capturing and torturing them for his own amusement.

And cuz he wastes the opportunity to end his opponent, this frequently results in the Jedi being saved or escaping most of the time!

Grievous's biggest weakness was that as a fighter he relied on overwhelming force and failed to pace himself. At least that's what Count Dooku believed.
It's why a master of a defensive form like Soresu such as Obi-Wan was usually able to hold his own really well against Grievous.

Grievous’ biggest weakness is the writers nerfing him from 2003 Gruevous. He’s definitely a favorite character of the clone wars but low key the series just makes seem like he always looses/weak which just isn’t true

What people don’t realise is that Grievous is actually a very cunning and intelligent warrior. He often used his magna guards to test the strength of a Jedi knight/Master and then he would fight them himself.
Grievous was still a force to be reckoned with he had enhanced strength, manoeuvrability, intelligence, anger and whit. His brain was capable of observing a Jedi fight pattern and quickly adapting to it.
While people often accuse him of being a coward he’s really not, a wise warrior/soldier knows when to retreat to fight another day. Xx

You forgot the third one. Plot Armor. All major characters he fights cannot be killed by him because they are already written to be in later stories.

I never thought of Grievous as weak in The Clone Wars. Just rash and lets his pride get the best of him. He holds his own very well against Kenobi in the show. There was even an unreleased episode arc where Grievous whoops Kenobi spectacularly.

Many complain that the Gungans were able to defeat Grievous, but literally, the Gungans' weapons (those spheres) are the counter to any mechanical being, it is even surprising that they were not mass produced for the Republic during the Clone Wars.

I wish grevious was given a more respectful role in the clone wars show than “villain of the week” status. He has such a unique design and a compelling backstory and he could’ve easily been more than generic villain to lose to the protagonist.

Grievous been my favorite character since like 12 man. We need a backstory show or movie or something his lore is immaculate other than the fact that no matter what battles he won or what Jedi he killed he was still one of palpy’s biggest pawns at the end of the day lol

Hot take: Grievous was never nerfed after 2003. They just stopped writing him as a horror movie villain.

Also the "bested many Jedi at once" feat that everyone sites the 2003 microseries for really only happened *_once, _* after all of the Jedi in question were worn down, surrounded, and demoralized. Of course they were going to get destroyed.

If we saw more of his off-screen victories in The Clone Wars, people wouldn't mock him as much.
