A great lesson for those of us stuck in the minor pentatonic box 1. One thing that helped me and would be a cool lesson is when I learned if the solo starts on the low E string you use position 1 of the minor pentatonic and if the solo originates on a note from the A string use position 3 of the minor pentatonic in the same fret position. That and combining some BB King type major blues licks has made visualizing the fretboard a lot easier for me.. Also playing over I, IV, V blues chord changes and note selection would help, I get jammed up in the V chord because once I play a lick the two bars are already finished.. Great channel..

This is great. I really think i need to focus on target notes within it to not get lost. Its one step back from chromatic but im not limited to a scale. Maybe BB king was right just enjoying his little box? In the end a jazz guy is gonna love this.
