During Rainy Season we know there is various types of Damages happens Due to Heavy Rain, Land Slides And Lightning. The major Damage is due to Lighting If lightning strikes a person, the stroke current can damage the central nervous system, heart, lungs, and other vital organs. Lightning-induced voltage surges can travel up phone and cable lines to damage the devices and appliances connected to them. Lightning also damage to our Building Structure, Small House or other Man made things.
So How to Protect our Building or Home As well us and our electronic Equipment from Lighting?. The Best way is to Have lightning protection system. A lightning protection system is designed to protect a structure from damage due to lightning strikes by intercepting such strikes and safely passing their extremely high currents to ground, Lightning current will divide to follow every conductive path to ground, and even the divided current can cause damage. There are various types of Rods available to add in this system which i have covered in this video.
The Main part of this Lightning protection system is Earthing and Earth Inspection Pit. The difference between both Earth pit (Earthing) and Earth Inspection Pit i have describe in very detail with technical point in this video.

Just a couple of related questions:

1.) What country’s code requirements is this designed for?

2.) It sounds like a well thought out system, but I *SEEM* to remember that, at least in the USA, *ALL* ground systems must be bonded together to make sure they’re at the same potential.

While a separate, semi-isolated ground would *SEEM* to be wise, I’m curious.

Also, there has been some speculation as to how a LPS *ACTUALLY* works. I had read that in addition to shunting an actual lightning strike to earth/ground, it may also function to _”bleed off”_ the charge differential to help *PREVENT* an actual strike.

It’s been a few years, and research may have improved.

I have set up a lightening system one year ago at my home at the clear land with no house around. The lightening material, it is an out of date material as you have presented in the video. After one year, a few days, there was an lightening happened at a solar pillar camera in front of my house which it damaged WiFi-router, a electric camera, and lamp. Luckily, no human being was in danger. In this situation, what do you recommend or suggest to deal with the lightening system to protect human being and other damages which can be happened again in the future?
