How far in advance can I plan breast augmentation for swimsuit season?

Really the underlying question is when can I get in the water? My answer is 2 months. The reason is to reduce the risk of infection. Microscopically, the incisions are not healed enough within the first few months. Pool or bath water can carry bacteria, and get through your incisions and cause an infection around your implant. That usually ends up with your implants having to be removed! So just please avoid pools and bath tubs for the first few months!
