Now in the third year of its fourth generation, the Porsche Boxster has become today’s preeminent mid-engine roadster. Well, Porsche, being Porsche, continues to refine the heck out of it; and for 2020, we get the most capable Boxster ever, in the form of this 718 Spyder.

I love how simple that steering wheel is. The fact that it isn't loaded full of tons of buttons is awsome. The manual transmission is cool as well.

No paddle shifters. No PDK. No steering wheel controls. Minimal power controls. Excellent visibility. Manual transmission. It was also evident with even Porsche’s EV the Taycan when they refused regenerative braking tech. They are one of the few companies that CARE about the driving experience.

Best Boxster. However, you can buy low mileage 2013 Boxster S for 35K and it will give you 90% fun of the Spyder. Pretty reliable as well.
