Correct me if I'm wrong, but if my understanding is correct, then....
The only way this could happen is if CrowdStrike pushes out untested updates to the entire World without first testing the update on even one single computer of their own

This update took down all computers running CrowdStrike on every Windows 10 and 11 machine on the Planet as far as I know

Are you telling me that they had to rush out an update to ALL critical Infrastructure on the Planet without spending 30 seconds to test it on one single computer of their own?

The video title is misleading. The issue is coming from a CrowdStrike update that made the OS (in this case Windows) crashed. Microsoft has nothing to do with it. They're using CrowdStrike too in their company and they're also dealing with all these.

most simple fix for this in the future. all companys should have mandated computers that are designed by default for only testing any and all software updates. no matter what software it is. if it's a software for anything important it goes throught that one computer first before anything else.

As much as I dislike Microsoft, this is NOT a Microsoft issue - it's an issue with CrowdStrike. If you buy a Ford and change the tires, you don't blame Ford when they blow out the next day, you blame the tire manufacturer.
