What is Net Neutrality?

A vote to end Net Neutrality is taking place on Thursday, Dec. 14. But what is this hot button issue and why is it important?

I understand how everyone feels about this, but not all of the countries live with net neutrality and they're doing fine. What's the worst that could happen?

If it ends then I will have a an excuse for not writing my finals essays, “ my internet doest get that website”... lol but I’m all seriousness I’m done if this goes away, I live in a Place where you can only have Xfinity internet and there charging me way over my limit, so I would be done with the internet

The internet is Big Business and Big Business goes where the money is. Do you really think the internet providers won't take advantage of this? It's also one step closer government regulation. I'll admit I don't know anything about it but it's just so damn obvious it's a no-brainer.
