A man was stopped in Tesco by a manager after he was allegedly walking around the store ‘strangely’, as he had ‘no linear pattern’ to walking up and down the aisles.

Sean Szoros was shopping at the Tesco store in Ludlow, when the manager approached him and told him his ‘shopping habits’ were ‘weird’.

This is so typical of a Tesco manager, I had the same sort of attitude from a Tesco Manager, and have now not set foot in one in 5 years and don't intend to ever do so again.

When I go into a supermarket, I rarely shop in a linear pattern either. I might need one particular thing, but then will go down other aisles to see if anything is reduced or to see if there is something I didn't think of when doing an online shop.

why is it up to him to decide how a customer shops, people suddenly remember they forget something if this is the mentality of Tesco staff Aldi around the corner, I was a Tesco customer but no longer and my Aldi is around them from TESCOS.

I go up and down aisle all the time and have to back track right to the start of the shop loads as I forget things . My lass hates shopping with me 😂

I once had a tesco security guard want to search my bag just because I didn't buy anything... the scanners didn't even go off and I didn't even touch anything on the shelves which would've clearly been seen on CCTV in fact I was no where near the shelves... I only went in to look at the price of something but he thought it necessary to try his luck... of course I told him where to go and I was already having a bad day which didn't help but it was embarrassing. I was on my way to my martial arts class ironically 😂 funny how they can't seem to catch the actual shoplifters tho considering the way they treat some of their customers

I just checked. No Tesco in the US since 2013. But if I ever move to the UK...now i know where not to shop.

I can't understand why some supermarket staff are so all of them of course, and many are fine, but some of them have got a major attitude problem.

I'm in the shit too then. When I go shopping in these big super markets I have no idea where anything is. They are all different. If I knew the layout it would take no time at all because my wife and I have a shopping list app called "To do" I think is a MS app. Anyway, I walk here and there, up and down, round and round and go up and down isle over and over again. Just as I get used to a shop, the cunts change it around and I am back to square one. I fucking hate shopping ! Thankfully and to date, the Tesco's in Portsmouth near the football ground appears to be ok. I am new there and have explained my routine to you and so far no one has bothered me. The staff are all happy and really helpful but just like anywhere, there is probably the one who spoils things. There's always one no matter where you work or where you go. Do you know the type of person I am talking about, or any of you that person?

All Tesco shops seem to have different layouts, we frequently have to wander about looking for things, cant always find someone to ask. This just seens a bit stupid, manger was being a bit of a prick, his colleague seems to agree. I think I would have reacted the same way as the customer.
