We all know that there are some pretty terrifying things lurking in our oceans. That’s why most of us may find the ocean beautiful, but a good percentage of the population prefer to stay away from it and just admire it from afar. However, if your only livelihood comes from the ocean, you don’t really have a choice but to brave the unknown and the big strong waves. For the most part, fishermen usually catch tuna, salmon, and sardines. But from time to time, they will encounter some weird, strange catch. From Bottle Inside fish to Hand Grenade, here are times when fishermen captured what no one was supposed to see.

I was on a charter fishing boat 65nm off nz 25 years ago we saw an eel about 1mitre in circumference and about 40 feet long. It stayed beside the boat for about 20minutes. It's was at night and we had a strong light. Very calm conditions. It totally took my breath away.

These alligator snapping turtles are not the largest Turtles in the world. There was a Giant Turtle sighted in the mid 1980s in Illinois. This turtle was 800 to 1200 pound turtle by my estimation.
