Terraria ALL NPC Drops, Items & Weapons! (Killing NPCs Guide, Voodoo Doll etc.)

Guide to all the Terraria NPC drops: free items and weapons just for killing NPCs! Including how to kill NPCs dead and what you get when each one dies.

The Guide Voodoo Doll helps get the Green Cap, the Clothier Voodoo Doll helps to get the Red Hat, and then you have to get more creative to get the Peddler's Hat from the Traveling Merchant and other items. Also includes the Exotic Scimitar from the Dye Trader, the Stylish Scissors from the Stylist, the Paintball Gun from the Painter, the Happy Grenade from the Party Girl, the Classy Cane from the Tax Collector, and the Ale Tosser from the Tavernkeep.

I cover what's available on each platform and what is not. PC, Xbox One, PS4, Android, IOS, plus other console and mobile platforms. I may have forgotten to mention that the Traveling Merchant is not available on 3DS!

I got the peddler's hat when my traveling merchant got killed by event enemies pre-1.3, when NPCs only ran around in a panic instead of fighting back.

My tax collector got killed by pirates. I found the cane in my inventory while cleaning up event loot.

I remember back when I was still a noob and thought that if bombs damage me when they explode, it might damage NPCs aswell. So I threw a hundred bombs at my fancy NPC hotel so I can get their drops...

But they didn't die

And now my beautiful hotel is gone ;-;

I just got the traveling merchant to go to my artificial jungle and I summoned the queen bee to dispose of him

The first time I got a goblin tinkerer I assigned him a house. That night the arms dealer came and had the house assigned to him. Then the goblin was slain.
