The ULTIMATE Terraria shimmer guide

Shimmer was a new feature added to terraria in the 1.4.4 update, and its ended up as one of the most useful features in the game. With shimmer being able to do so much like player upgrades, new movement types, and much more I wanted to go over everything you need to know about shimmer, which is exactly what I do in this video

Fun fact if you throw any staff from olds one army event npc (i don't remember the name) it will reroll into another staff

If you through the water gun in, you get the shimmer gun to use on the NPC's

Also if you throw explosives ( the ones which are in underground traps) it will break it down into dynamite

i threw it in the shimmer liquid it freaking separated every parts of the zenith.

If an armor has an ancient form when thrown in it will become it and cacti turn into pumpkins and vis versa that's all I know

Being a slime, the shimmer slime is naturally the best thing you can get from shimmer.

Using a gun and shooting shimmer (bows too) bounce the shots, you can get "shimmered" by using a fishing rod.

You can toss ankh sheild ingredients into the shimmer to get the other side of them e.g. the blindfold turns into the pocket mirror
