The honey block bubblevator is my fav because of it's speed, simplicity, and ability to be waterless. The only thing it is missing is a floor selector panel.
I am currently theorizing how you could hit a button to make a trapdoor or piston come out and stop you on your desired floor.

If you don't know already, I suggest to use glass panes for the bubble elevator cause you can go through it for the elevator, and it's asthetically pleasing to the eyes.
