IMPORTANT ELEVATOR STUFF

1. Download the world. From my testing (and I did a loooot of testing) it's almost 100% reliable in all 4 orientations, but definitely 100% reliable in 2 of the 4 orientations. My friend Wout told me they are 100% reliable in all 4 directions for him, so please download the world and see how it works on your PC, in each orientation. The world download shows which ones are 100% reliable from my testing. If you're on smp, just build a small test version to see how it goes, but I can guarantee that it's as reliable as on singleplayer.

World Downloads:

2. All the glass that I placed can be exchanged with any block of your choice (except at the top, the glass directly below the tripwire hooks). All the furnaces can be exchanged with obsidian. No, you do not have to use Andesite (there's always at least one that asks that :P).

3. If you're having issues, do please tell me and I will do my best to help everyone.

4. Make sure you are using 1.8.1 or above.

5. Super importantly, why is this called the "Ultimate" elevator?
- My name
- I hope it's gonna be my last, because:
- It's the fastest possible (atm)
- And the smallest. You can actually make it 1x6 if you know what you're doing, but it will look extremely ugly.

I just began watching your videos yesterday - definitely subscribed. I was wondering if its possible to make an elevator just as speedy with multiple floors? You could have already made a video of that though, me just browsing around so I wouldnt know. But these are awesome. -thumbs up-

awesome elevator, tyvm Mr. Master of Elevators!! :) It really does work flawlessly on SMPs! However, because you now have shown what could very well be the fastest and most reliable elevator around doesn't mean you should stop, imho! What about elevators... with style? I'd love to see you create at least a few more "stylish" or original elevators, nm that they'd be slower than this one! Or maybe original cattle or item elevators? What about diagonal elevators, sorta like mechanical stairs? Anyway, just a few thoughts! Thx again for this (and your other) videos!

Awesome elevator...
I like the changes of the entrance and exit. I just need an elevator for the Nether, where I can ride in and out with a horse. This is perfect. I think I let one horse in the elevator and with whom I ride through the Nether I jump over fences in the elevator... or something. Thanks UR :)
