Honestly it just depends on your money situation. Me personally I like the Oled, even if the lite runs it the same we play games because of the experience and the Oled just helps us experience the game better then the lite.

I’ve purchase a lite in 2020, I did not figure I would ever play docked, and I can honestly say the lite works really well for me. It nice and portable and I have a series s, and a steam deck if I want to play something in ye ol tv. The lite is my chuck it in the case and go machine.

To your statement at the end about owning both, I would have back when the Lite launched but the play time counters not syncing really turned me away from using multiple Switch devices. I am sure people like me are rare but such a simple fix and perhaps NIntendo could have boosted their sales a tad bit more. I hope the NSW-2 makes the transition with our play time history a seamless one.

This is a really well made video! I'm someone who bought a lite in 2020 because all I planned on playing at the time was Animal Crossing. I do miss the extras of a full switch like rumble and disconnected controllers but like many others have said, if they made a OLED Lite, I would pick it up in a heartbeat.

In case of experience it's completely clear: oled. But i don't know why, the lite is real fun!

Also one thing that most people don't talk about is that he oled has 32 gb of extra storage, it might not sound a lot but considering the size of most oof the Switch Games, it is something that makes a big diference

When I played the lite I don’t play it all day I go to work and I played it on the train and I still got some battery life left but I still love it for 4 years

I've had 8 Switches buying and selling them. Just stuck with a blue Lite, it`s the best form factor to play and has better PPI than the OLED. However, I miss the HD Rumble though.

If cost isn’t an issue, and spending the extra money won’t kill your budget, absolutely get the OLED. The picture quality is so much better and the colors just pop. That and the better battery, it’s a slam dunk in my opinion.

I disagree about the joycons being just a flex. It is worth noting that the joycons are worth very nice to play with in bed or just when you dont want to have your hands up holding the console or looking down at the console in your hands. I can lay and bed and have one joycon behind my head under my pillow and the other down to my side while paying the game. It is the most confortable gaming experience for casual gaming.
