I never plan on laying my switch docked. I don’t like the loose feel of the joycons.
But I do prefer the screen size and clarity of the oled. OLED screen with switch lite design would be perfect for me

OLED is a win win bc of the bigger screen and that it is a switch model that works better for all the games and multi-player co-op with no extra accessories needed, so it’s a model that works better for everything (all the games) and everyone (which includes you yourself and friends/family members that might want to play with you).

OLED by far. I was so against upgrading to the OLED, thinking it was just a little bit brighter and who needs it or who cares, but when I finally got one I was floored by the beauty of the screen.
Its make the games come alive. Mario type games in particular look like they are popping off a digital canvas/painting.
I would tell everyone to get the OLED now if they could afford it.

Lite is fantastic. The only problem with it is the LCD panel is prone to damage causing lines to appear on it.

The pixel density of the OLED screen is lower, 720p at that size makes aliasing more noticeable. Lite, Switch, and OLED decrease in pixels per inch in that order. 267ppi lite, 236ppi switch, 200ppi switch OLED. Worth considering!

I'm 63, my first computer was a ZX spectrum, I love the OLED switch, but must admit the portability of the Lite is tempting me now, kind of the opposite of my Legion Go, which i also like, but its HEAVY! I wonder if Switch 2 will have a Lite version?

having owned all 3 versions of the switch i have to say the lite is by far my favourite. If i want to play games on tv and with much better resolution, i'll play my playstation. The lite is so much more portable and comfortable for handheld gaming.

I have both, and I can confirm you don’t need the OLED or bigger screen or better battery, and plus if the screen is too small on the lite then the screen even on the OLED still might be too small for you. Nintendo knew what they were doing with the smaller version. And funnily enough I use the lite more often than the OLED. Only thing that got me was the storage, just barely enough for five games, the last one wouldn’t install.

Even with that storage issue, it’s better and does save money if you just want handheld.

Don’t climb the price ladder like I did 😂

Definitely the lite. I enjoy how it’s more of a handheld console, and how it’s more portable. It reminds me of my 3ds back in the day. I just got mine 2 days ago as an early birthday present

I have both. Don't waste your time with LITE. Get the OLED. It's much more refined, has vastly superior screen for mobile play, and different accessories allows you to connect to HD TV for immersive experience at home or office. It also makes the controller feel like a regular controller. And also has that Wii feel to it when playing sports games.

i just modded my switch lite and it runs and oled screen, hall effect joysticks, 5000mah battery upgrade, and its the SNES shell.

for when im chilling at home on the tv or in bed oled but for traveling lite cus it doesn’t break that fast and its light and i like the colors and its easy to bring around
