If you had a choice been the new OLED Switch and the Switch Lite? Which would you choose? I think I know the answer but I'm curious 🤔

just imagine, a switch lite, OLED screen and just a tad bigger (reduced bezel), with hd rumble and dock-able... i honestly would buy it even if it was $500 without the dock.

I was considering getting the OLED Nintendo Switch, but purchased the Lite instead. Firstly because I only game handheld and felt that the bigger switch would cause my hands to fatigue quicker since it is heavier. Second the internal specs are literally identical which means all the games I want to play will be the same and run the same as the OLED model. Third the built and the lightness felt better (I went to a store to compare to the two) it felt more solid and has less moving parts. Fourth, Pixel density - it is definitely clearer than the bigger models but of course the OLED would be much brighter and more vibrant. Both are great Consoles and its awesome you have the option to choose which one would fit your needs more.

Switch lite for me, I can play it in between classes. But sadly I don't own one. I have my regular switch but it's just too bulky to carry around

I have the lite and have had the clumsy dockable version before. The switch is a portable console and the lite is far more convenient. The normal switch is a comprise console both docked and portable. Those looking for a lot of docked gameplay should consider a proper home console, such as an Xbos or Playstation. I love my switch lite and will never go back to the original model.

Have been going back and forth between which Switch to buy and I think I've finally decided on the lite. Having the worst time finding the grey color though. I would get the OLED but based on Nintendo history they are actually due for a new console very soon. They may say otherwise...but I would expect them to announce something before we know it.

i play mostly alone, upgraded from a 3DS and got the lite. If i had bought the OG or the OLED i would play it much more in handheld mode anyway, so i got what made sense to me.

here in the philippines the switch oled costs $460.. and a lot of people who bought it here are experiencing the green tint issue.. some people who ordered online were unfortunate to get a green tint upon opening their package.. some people are reporting the green tint on their oled appear after a week or two of using it.. some people who got their unit replaced are still experiencing the green tint issue on their oled unit.. so for now i'm sticking with my blue switch lite until nintendo acknowledge the issue and try to fix it which i think is kind of a long shot.. i really like to get the oled model.. i used to own a v2 and got tired of it so i switch to the switch lite.. but i realized i really need a bigger display because the fonts on the switch lite are too damn small.. so again if nintendo will not fix the issue i might settle on buying a V2 instead.. or just stick with the switch lite since i like how legit portable it is despite how small the fonts appear on the screen..

I have both of them, switch lite and oled (just upgraded from v1). I like both of them, but i prefer switch lite because it is small and lightweight, i can bring it everywhere with my small bag. i also play some single player title (pokemon and zelda) with my switch lite. But i need og/oled switch too to play local multiplayer games with my friend and family. For home use, i prefer og/oled because it is dock able and has a joycon (its so fun because you can play some good local mutliplayer title with joycon, like 12switch, just dance 2022, ring fit adventure, etc). But for high mobility and solo single player title i prefer switch lite 😃

Just upgraded from my switch lite I got when it released to the oled and I'm loving the oled, beautiful display and with the option to dock so I can sit in my bed at nice and play something before I sleep more storage (not alot but it's something) just gives a better experience.

Perfect way to go.
You'll never have to worry about joycon drift, best way to play on the go and at home. I've played my OLED Switch in handheld way more than I ever did on my V2 Switch. The Split Pad Pro is cheaper than joycons also and feels very comfortable when gaming

got a switch lite last year (picked the yellow because 1st game I was going to get was pokemon sword....so pikachu yellow). reason I got it vs a regular switch (and probably would apply to today with OLED) is....price. plus brother was buying it for me christmas (his say....but said didnt really care as he was paying). Even before I knew was getting it, was leaning towards the lite to save money. plus didnt want another device hooked up to my tv. I like the portability of the lite. I like I can sit on my chair, or bed and play while still watching tv (live in a studio), I dont need to dock. or undock. if Im leaving, just pick up and leave. all I care about is price and being to play my games

My oh switch was collecting dust so I was gonna sell it to buy the oled (hopefully to force my self to use it more) but my friend decided to give me her old switch lite and I LOVE IT. It’s so comfy. I decided to keep my old switch docked (I only play smash bros on the tv lol)

I prefer buying the OG or the OLED switch than the switch lite because it has more features and the og switch is still portable despite being bigger than the lite.

as much as i enjoy my oled..i still miss my carrying my lite in the flip cover case in my pocket

I will get myself both OLED and Lite switch.

Reasons is not as farfetched...OLED as a home console whilst Lite I will use for travel.

Since Playstation I play physical Nintendo I am going digital.
