hello and welcome to my college dorm tour! I decided to make this video a combined video, doing both a dorm tour and talking about college necessities. I always loved seeing what people recommended bringing for the ideal dorm room setup, so I hope this is helpful for you! I recommend getting a paper and pen organizer for your desk, a makeup/vanity organizer that spins, and lots and lots of bins, cannot stress organization enough. Also a mattress topper is amazing and fake plans really brighten up the room without the commitment of having to keeping a plant alive 🥵. drawer organizers for your dresser, hanging shoe racks, and posters from FedEx are also really good!!

Highly recommend a drying mat for your dorm!! For the dishes you hand-wash, it's nice to have the mat because it's really absorbent and you don't have to worry about using a towel for that purpose. I got a really cute Disney one at TJ Maxx for about $10, and they're nice because they aren't bulky like a true drying rack would be. Great video Ella!

So, one thing you might not think about (or want to think about really) is where the dusts goes when you have a carpet? It is more noticeable when having real floors, since the dust is no longer trapped in the carpet!
