I love freshwater fish, i don’t know why, I’ve just always loved them. They may not be as colorful but i could watch them for hours.

Turns out my bristlenose is a male! I always thought small bristles (like mine) were females, and large bristles meant male. But thanks to your comments I learned his are considered large enough to signify he's a boy! Thanks guys! You taught me something new :D

I've seen bristlenoses with much larger bristles (which is why I mislabeled mine), so those must have just been well-endowed plecos :P

Fish are so underrated! Today I told my friend fish are actually much harder to take care of than like dogs just as a fact and she said “but fish are so boring like you can’t hold them or anything so what’s the point to look at them?” 😞 yes that is the point they are very interesting And a great hobby to keep you busy! And good for mental health

Love this tank! One thing though... That bristlenose is actually a male. Females don't have most of the bristles on their noses, and will have white patches at the very end of each fun. And now you know!

Just a heads up! The brand of brine shrimp you're using (Sally's) is notorious for not doing quality checking and may infect your fish with parasites! Omega One and Hikari are much better (and quality checked).

Have you looked into the Fluval Bug Bites? When your cichlid pellets run out you should try them! They have a color enhancing formula as well and the primary ingredient is black soldier fly larvae (which we as reptile people know is awesome). It's my favorite and the fish go crazy for it!

I have never seen such active plecos, I admire your care and close attention to your animals.

I know I'm way late, but flakes are also a good option if you want to keep cory cats. The flakes and pieces that aren't eaten by your top feeders will feed your cory cats. They also make tank clean up much easier. I recommend them for anyone with a non-aggressive freshwater tank.

You can tell she takes very good care of them, they all have plump bodies which makes them so cute and adorable

If you want a video idea, please, please, please do a video on what racks/tubs/setups you use for your animals! I really love your setup and would love to recreate it to start a small reptile breeding business of my own!

This tank is so pretty! Makes me wish I could keep fish but I'm not well versed on everything that goes into tank maintenance and water changes, etc.
