[WuWa] Yuanwu Main's Review. Is Yuanwu Really The Worst Character In Game?

In this video, as a Yuanwu Main, I will be going through 5 reasons on why you should or should not build Yuanwu in the current state of the game.

Hello, I noticed that you may be losing a large amount of DPS when using Yuanwu, so I wish to help, if possible. When you switch to Yuanwu, and you are intending to keep him on field to do DPS, you should, in under no circumstance, use his Forte (Hold E), for if you do so, you will be missing out on his first Ascension buff that grants him a very large damage multiplier by maintaining his Forte maxed out. Instead, when you do keep him on field, try to do the following rotation: E -> Ultimate to detonate totem (about 2s animation) - 1s cooldown > E - weave attacks for 3 seconds > repeat the process until the 10 seconds of infusion is over, and only then should you activate the forte and detonate your totem. By doing this, you will also be liable for your level 70 Ascension passive, which automatically drops a totem when you leave the field, it also helps with concerto energy. Afterwards, only return to Yuanwu once his Readiness is fully stacked again via your team's coordinated attacks. Give it a try, let me know how you like it :)
As for the attack rotation itself, I like heavy attack into immediate thunderwave, but I've yet to test out other rotations.

I use him as a main DPS sometime. At S5 he can solo this fight. I’m glad that all the characters in this game are good.

He used to have Yinlin's spot in the team with Calcharo 😅 I'm still gonna try to build him in that full electro dps without verina when I get better at dodging cause I like him more

When everyone can get to 90 he will outscale the other characters due to his insane base stats. Pre 90 he is a little worse.

ive been semibuilding yuanwu because i like his playstyle and design quite alot. hes just lvl 50 though with lvl 50 amity accord. i gave him a moonlit with def wherever i could and that already brings me to almost 2k def. i obviously lose out on alot of crit and lightning scaling. not sure what would be optimal in the end.

i like that yuanwu yinlin team but here me out:
i think yuanwu can become one of the better if not one of the best sub dps choices for jinshi in 1.1.
enabling more onfieldtime for jinshi, getting yuanwus concerto just from his pillar while being offield and abusing his breakbar dmg and coordinated attacks to collect incandescance stacks for her. sure, he doesnt buff her like other resonators will but the choices arent great for that either.
we have sanhua who ends up being a bad choice now with the buffs to jinshi making her basic attacks count as skill damage while incarnated,
taoqi sounds amazing with the skill deepen but i just dont see the rotation/playstyle being smooth enough to feel good/be worth,
spectro rover (which will be c6 with 1.1) giving cc field from outro, burst, small healing on ult and spectro res shred (will not help with stacking jinshis forte at all though because both are spectro),
yinlin or mortefi will probably be her best choices if i would have to guess but id rather have my yinlin stay in my calcharo team and mortefis outro is a complete waste on jinshi (time will tell how much heavy damage comes from her rotation since in her final form her basic is a special heavy but i dont think itll add alot)
so thats why i feel like yuanwu will really have a nother team once jinshi hits us!

What if I have him at c6 with R4 weapon. Would he be a better teammate then Sanhua? For my yinlin. Who's c1.

Hey man, can you make a showcase without Yinlin? I find it hard to distinguish where the damage is coming from due to the punishment mark. It would be really nice if you could showcase him without her.

Yuanwu seems cool. Hopefully defense scaling characters will get a buff in the future.

Yuanwu remember a 5 star animations, due the less recourses, I probably go save my farm in he now for focus in second main team on Towers ( and a third poor team for save my two teams on floor 4 and middle tower(4+5, and one stamina left for using in floor's 1)). But in the moment I can complete the towers, i go to build a perfect Yuanwu

NGL but pair him w yinlin and jianxin and u legit decimate the enemy vibration meter in less then 5 seconds if u time jianxin ult and nail the exact rotation of the char only downside is yinlin as a main dps is causing trouble in tower of adversity
