CN community and Encore main have found out that Yinlin and Encore can actually have synergies in quickswap team. I think i saw Prywden just done the vid for demonstrate how quickswap Encore Yinlin work.

when you mention about smoothness of the character gameplay, then Jiyan + Mortefi + 1 is really the best team right now. Easy to rotate, easy to combo with Jiyan, and the dmg outcome is very good. Kuro literally fk up the Yinlin + Calcharo combo, having Yinlin right now barely buff the Calcharo team in tower, but her weapon is still very good, and i think can still be used for a long time. really consider to get it for Encore.

I think Yinlin is on the team so that Calcharo no longer needs to use swap cancel. Previously, he needed swap cancel to maximize his damage but now he can stay on the field longer with the help of buffs and lightning strikes from Yinlin. And you can still perform swap cancels but the amount is reduced. With Yinlin, you can only use swap cancel on the last heavy attack before Calcharo's liberation disappears.

While it's not something I think they explicitly advertise, I think swap cancelling is one of the BIGGEST selling points of this game.

And they're making it worse.

i personally think the damage wasn't the real reason for them to nerf that team
people were abusing the fact that when you do the swap the other characters become invisible so basically with this team it's impossible for you to get hit no matter how powerful the boss is and that defeat the whole purpose of the game
but it's really sad that they had to change it that way
i don't mind that when you swap from chalcharo you'll lose the buffs but the change with her skill is really bad
being clunky is worse than being weak in my opinion

I use jianxin+calcaro and yinlin+calcaro. Honestly i prefer jianxin over yinlin on calcaro reason cuz damn calcaro animation during his slam attack is quite long if u get hit during that animation it will be quite brutal. Having jianxin shield is a saving grace but dmg wise yinlin+calcaro is definitely better. I honestly just run her as sub dps for whatever team.

As much I love Yinlin animations, I didn’t know this nerf goes hard as trying it myself. I thought the ONLY nerf for this team would be the Calcharo energy nerf but hell it is WAAAY worse. I love Yinlin but damn playing her feels really clunky.

Finally some honesty, alot people trying to over hype her.. I'm calcharo main or was.. even after getting yinlin not sure if i'm gonna main that team anymore.
I mean we kinda saw this coming from all the nerfs etc, CN tester called the dps increase with calcharo/yinlin comp wasn't going to be super op anymore.
