I believe I can understand what you tried to mean by ‘Golden Call’. Twenty one years ago I experienced similar. At that time I was working as Credit Manager for American Express Bank Dhaka, Bangladesh. 1 day my Asst Legal Manager asked me to give her a copy of my CV, though she refused to tell me the reason I still gave it to her. I. A few days I received a local from a local number asking me what would a convient time to talk with Mashreqbank Dubai, as they wanted to talk with me. Gave them a time and talked with the lady fro legal department who said the person who called is her friend and a Head Hunter. Within 2 weeks I received employment letter and a ticket for Dubai for face to face interview. It was economy class ticket but I went to Dubai after the interview I asked the Credit Review Deptt head to change my ticket to business class; as I was used to travel business class ( in American Express, my grade was entitled to travel business) My ticket was upgraded at bank cost. After returning within 10 days all formalities were completed such as Visitor Visa etc. Rest is history.

I flew from Sydney to Athens with a Dubau stoppover. September 2020.

I fly a lot and was my first time flying Emirates. I was deciding on Qatar or Emirates. All friends faced about Emirates. I was not impressed.

Cabin crew were not the issue but the ground staff and the airline were.

My flight was cancelled twice. I had to spend and extra night in Dubai at my own cost. Then was made to do a second covid test which was 250 Dirhams.

My luggage and cabin weight was the same when I left Sydney.

Emirates wanted to charge me an extra $200AUD for extra weight. It was 5kg over. I couldn't justify this and so I had to leave behind gifts and chocolates. This was just my carry on.

Food was bad.

Everything I called Emirates customer service they had no clue or would just tell me what I wanted to hear.

Overall, never flying Emirates again.

A “classy cabin crew”, then you have videos about how cabin crew marry others to get extra money because of the low salaries and high cost of living in Dubai.... you gotta be shitting me... Then Emirate fires people in a very tacky way.... A “VIP” or “classy cabin crew “ like you say or cabin crews like to tag themselves wouldn’t get that tacky treatment when getting fired...

Lol not hating but I’m sure that country girl flight attendant must had those blue eyes and Very blonde hair to offer to the airline! No way arab doctrine will hire someone non Caucasian with nothing to offer just their pale complexion
