Emirates, the long-haul carrier known for its luxury services, has set new standards for the way we travel. Like airlines everywhere, the carrier has been battered by the coronavirus pandemic. To keep customers safe and on board, Emirates adopted a variety of new protocols. The company also pivoted to cargo shipments to keep itself afloat. So will Emirates bounce back from the economic fallout pummeling the airline industry?

gotta say, flying Emirates to Dubai was first time in my life when I felt flying economy class was nice. Even their economy class felt like an upgrade from North American service

"The way we travel.." kind of you to assume I could afford Emirates.

I think one of the reasons for the success of the ME3 carriers (Emirates included) is their geographical location from east to west. This might be a bit of a concern in the future as longer flights happen more frequently. In addition, I think the demise of Iran Air that used to be one of if not the largest airlines of the Middle East in the 70s before the Iranian revolution caused an end to the ambitious plans of the time.

I live in Mirdif, Dubai, it’s very close to the DXB airport, so I see emirates planes all day😁

Emirates is my prefered and favourite airlines to date, COVID 19 has affected all airlines across the globe. However I do hope that Travel demands ramp up soon. I wish Emirates all the best and hopes this pandemic comes to an end soon.

I flew with them for the first time this May from JFK to Dubai. The flight going there was
excellent. The staff and service is really good. Coming back it was the worst flight I’ve been on as far as turbulence. The first three hours of the flight on and off. The seat belt light going off and the plane shaking. No explanation as to why. I recently took another flight that had a lot of turbulence but the captain warned us and explained what was going on.
