How cinnamon is harvested 😮

Ever wonder where cinnamon really comes from? It’s not as simple as picking it from a plant. In fact, it’s hidden beneath the bark of a tree! Harvesters carefully peel away the outer bark to reach the inner layer, which is where the cinnamon we all know and love is found.

But here’s something surprising—the best cinnamon actually comes from the younger branches, making it even more special. After the tree is stripped, it stays bare for a few months, but in just two to three years, the bark grows back, ready to be harvested again. It’s an amazing natural cycle that makes every stick of cinnamon a small piece of that magic! #shorts #asmr #oddlysatisfying #satisfying #relaxing #cinnamon

That's not the good cinnamon. The good cinnamon comes from Shrelanka.

In 20 + year's i have not come across a chef outside of Siri Lanka who picked the difference, in a BLIND FOLD TEST WHEN THE CONTENTS WERE SUBSTITUTED.
