I got a new ps5 today, ran south west of the volcano to the industrial/ military area and got my first kill with a double barrel!! The player had a KAM big drum mag and a big back pack, i literally went from zero to hero in like 1 hour

Went to the Airport/Airbase in Nogovo with my Duo and we stopped, and saw the busses in a line at the terminal with a quarantine zone with military vehicles. Thought people were trying to leave. It was such a simple and nice way to design the area

I love the details of the new map. Feels like your walking through real villages that people had to abandon. Little more spooky

So true.... have seen lots like makeshift military set ups (like they had moments to set up before outbreak) and many other things. The house/villages are certainly unique

The hot springs has skeletons of people and animals, hinting that the water is dangerous, love those details

Yeah I agree 👍 it really looks like a place where something had has happened. Makes it feel more like a zombie apocalypse as well as a real lived in place ❤

Karma Krew Livonia on console is beautiful, wrecked cars litter the highways with small checkpoints and many more small things that don’t take away from the maps play style or loot economy and actually looks like people used to reside there. Wish they had a US server tho :(

That’s one thing Chernarus and Livonia are definitely missing, there’s some, and they’ve definitely improved with some of the updates, improvised medical stations at mil bases, etc. But they could definitely tell more individual based stories with how houses are set up, if there’s obvious signs of struggles in structures, more mass graves near medical zones, static convoys and evacuation sites that were either successful or unsuccessful, etc.

I always love coming across environmental story telling when i find it in dayz. I remember finding a gravesite in the middle of nowhere in livonia with a cowboy hat on top. I made camp there and realized how much i love the game. Crazy to find out what those graves actually meant. Dayz is awesome

The best thing about Sakhal is the islands. Somebody says there is no reason to go there. That’s wrong. It’s a good place for a base or to raid a base. Or to find a boat.
