Remember that some custom servers have relaxed building restrictions, making some of the impossible base caves available for building.

I found a tiny island that wasn't on izurvive(at least I couldn't find it) south at the edge of the map. It had a tiny hole cave with a skeleton on a mattress.

Im loving this map, i just found my own cave to build in yesterday. I only wish that the bears were polar bears and there was an animal specific to the ice sheets, like a penguin, walrus, seal, or something like that

the face in the cave isnt an SCP reference. Its a reference to the aboriginal drawings of supposed extra terrestrials or star people. And with the constellation reference to the arma 3 DLC, Im assuming theyre teasing some kind of alien content for dayz, or maybe arma 4

Not going to build a base in a cave, nor look for bases in there, but the map in the video helped a lot finding the "lore cave" from trailer. So thanks for that Mr. Wobo & keep up great work!

I swear there's so many creepy sounds on this map, and i don't know if some of them are intentional or not.

The other day, I was on a vanilla server near the volcano searching for a guy who had shot at me while I was looking for the scientist.

There was nothing around me, just rocks and the snow on the ground, and aside from my own footsteps from me turning, it was dead silent.

It wasn't even snowing, but I would hear something that sounded like something in between a low growl and wood creaking, maybe 3 different times in the time that I was there...

I've never heard that specific sound before.

I don't know, but this map gives me such creepy vibes, especially at night 😅
