We save our data on our hard drives [HDD] and solid stated Drives [SSD] but most of us do not know when it's going to fail or die. By using a tool named CrystalDiskinfo it will give you insights and data about your SSD or HDD such as how long has it been used, health status, and many more. This will give you ahead of time backing up your files before ur drive fails.

The ssd can fail on 99 percent good too, there is a risk of immediate failure with components that is not as common with hdds (more likely to give you a caution and very short time to move your files elsewhere). Hdds are also easier to repair, even if super expensive. Perhaps ssd tech is improving but I think the best to do is to get your ssd from a known computer store initially (amzn is full of fakes), insert two drives and use one to clone to as a backup, or just to copy over important files you dont want to lose. Even large sd cards, multiple blurays for backups or free cloud services are better than losing everything (although I wouldn't trust the latter so much given cloud services can be hacked into, and the worst is likely still to come)

do not be tempted by cheap offers and large capacity, especially without a warranty. case example, flash disk drive. ranging from 32gb to 1tb capacity, all of that nonsense if without warranty and the price is very cheap.

i suffered quite a bit from the low quality impersonation.

This is great. I have a new SSD arriving tomorrow. I transferred my originally files to an external drive. Is it safe to transfer them to my new SSD considering some of those files may be corrupted?

SSD memory technology may be faster, but less reliable in time due to the fatigue in the transistors
