Repairing the Macbook Pro late 2013 15 inch - is it worth it?

The late 2013 macbook pro 15 inch has many parts that can be swapped out, repaired and upgraded. This video will walkthrough fixing a trackpad, speaker and the retina lcd screen and upgrading the SSD. Hi thewre, I own a late 2013 macbook pro 15" retina display and I have purchased it recently but I have one problem. There is a hardware I used to use with my older 2011 macbook pro and the hardware only has firewire ports and the late 2013 macbook pro doesn't have firewire ports. It just has usb amd thunderbolt ports. How can I get my firewire hardware to work with my late 2013 macbook pro?

Hi a little bit late for the party, question about the SSD is it mSata SSD or NVME SSD? Since they have similiar key type (if you're not counting the pins) and both using the m.2 format. If it's NVME SSD then macbook pro 2012 would be indeed before its time. Sincerely a new subscriber.

Bought mine brand new with the dedicated GT 750m 16gb 512gb ssd and I have yet to find a reason to upgrade other than the new M1 Mac has significantly better battery life.

Hope you still reading this comments :" I have this mbp and I was thinking to upgrade it at maximum because nowadays I am using windows and I recently bought an Ipad pro n an Iphone. Obviously a mbp would be amazing due to the ecosystem. However, I study mechatronics engineering and heavy programs like Inventor, solidworks, jupyter (machine learning and that stuff) are used in my career. On the other hand, I really wish the mbp with apple silicon; but for the things I need, probably the 16" mpb would be released even on finals of next year.
With all being set, should I upgrade to the maximum the mbp i have or should I just wait? seeing also in the economic way.

Would be really grateful if u help me with this existencial problem that i have. Im from Peru so sorry if I commit a lot of mistakes.

Hi there, I didnt get what you said about the graphics, I´m about to get the late 2013 2, 0ghz I7 I this with integrated graphics, I came from a mid 2012, just needed to get online class and programming sometimes. is good still for a couple of years?

You can't upgrade ram on your late 13?
